YOU SAID - WE DID!
If you attended the Community Engagement Event on Saturday 8th Feb 2025 – you will have heard about and seen some excerpts from the completed Prestwich Village Neighbourhood Area Design Code that we commissioned from AECOM in April 2024.
Many of you provided feedback to PVNF at range of community engagement events during 2024 :
- The Inaugural Engagement event Feb 24;
- The Clough Day June 24;
- The Online DC Survey conducted July 24
All the data collected from these events was analysed and triangulated to inform the Design Code (DC).
Your views were important and have been used to shape the Design Code.
We will publish the Design Code once the Council has considered it and approved it.
Just to remind you –
- A design code is a document that is part of a Neighbourhood Plan and sets rules for the design of new developments.
- It is a tool that can be used in the design and planning process for a designated area. Eg: buildings, shop & road signage, public realm, walkways etc.
We will publish the key findings from the synthesis of your data/feedback you gave us on here over the next few weeks that fed into the DC.
