Thank you to everyone who attended today’s PVNF AGM and for your valued contributions to the feedback sessions held following the meeting.
It was really encouraging to see some new faces, along with some regular members offering such thoughtful discussion and constructive ideas about the future of our village.
Some of the key themes raised included:
- How can the Neighbourhood Plan ensure that future developments truly reflect local voices?
- What are the next steps for the Neighbourhood Plan?
- How can the principles of Pride in Place be taken forward by the Council and partners and incorporated into future engagement plans?
Your input matters. Engagement only works when it shapes outcomes, and today’s conversations will directly inform our next steps.
We will now be actively progressing the next stage of the Neighbourhood Plan and continuing discussions with the Council and partners to explore how they can ensure community voices remain central to decision-making.
We will also discuss with them how the principles of “Pride in Place” can be reflected in future proposals and engagement processes.
Thank you to The Crooked Man Bar Prestwich and Prestwich Cricket Bowling and Tennis Club for their support and the use of their facilities for events and meetings.
Thank you to everyone for continuing to care about Prestwich Village and for helping to shape its future. 💚
